I'm Akshay Yaravalli

Professional digital marketer with a passion for content marketing, surpassing SEO skills, content creation, and fresh promotion strategies. Skilled in building brands and campaigns from scratch as well as revamping outdated web presence. Currently working as a top-level digital marketing lead for Collej™,  a  consortium of companies, whose goal is to find, groom, evaluate & recruit the best UX talent available in the market.

With over 7+ years of experience, I built and deployed many marketing strategies across a variety of areas and mediums in digital marketing. Also, I utilized my creative skills in creating creative engaging content, advertisement videos, and promotional stuff.

Aug 2019 – May 2021

First, I analyzed and understood that the digital marketing processes and strategies of Devathon were dated and slow. They didn’t have any ranking articles, social presence, and email marketing, at the time of my joining. I revamped their digital marketing activities and strategically implemented processes, from there most of the activities, flow seamlessly.

In the span of six months, the content base increased, and due to the effective SEO, articles started to rank on the first page and generating traffic. Written many high-quality quora answers on our business-related topics in order to attract relevant referral traffic to the website and blog.

Pitching many relevant websites for the guest posting, link building and maintaining relations that gives Devathon link juice and backlinks, which eventually increased authority and rankings of Devathon.

Managing and maintaining Devathon website and blog through Content Management System(CMS). Created engaging visuals and graphics that follow the theme of the article/landing page. Designed and built landing pages that cover important search queries related to our business and many more…

Custom Furnish

Jan 2015 – Aug 2019

I joined CustomFurnish as a Digital Marketing Visualizer. CustomFurnish is an e-commerce website where customers can buy furniture and interior designing services at affordable prices. I used to work mostly on SEO, content creation (graphics & videos), content management, content writing. 

Later, in Sept 2016 I promoted as a digital marketing coordinator. After promotion, I used to manage website content/products, SEO, email marketing/outreach, promotional activities, PPC, projects management and leading advertisement designing team.

When I joined CustomFurnish it was a startup with few folks. Now, the company evolved, took major decisions, raised big funds and started other sister websites like BatchTag and MyDeziner. CustomFurnish opened many experience stores across Hyderabad and also opened branches across south india. I’m glad that I was a part of this growth and experienced many new things in my professional life.
